The great thing about having a seasonal job like seal coating and a you tube channel is you can split the off time doing editing.

How long does it take to cure?

Yeah, my parents were taken by some scammers in the villages here in Florida some years ago they said they were putting this black sealant on the driveway and ended up using used motor oil told them. Oh it’ll dry in a few days. It never dried then we found out it was used motor oil, Ended up having to have the driveway removed. Dirt removed cost them a small fortune and my parents were not the only ones that got scammed. this happened to approximately 10 different people. So definitely be careful with not going with reputable people.

How many coats do you apply

And after the 3-5 years? Just remove the old layer?

Thanks for the scammer tip, but too late. We live up north and they were from the south. Beautiful job, but too slick like glass in winter. We learned our lesson. They were so nice though!

Where I live here in Gatineau Québec Canada everyone that seals driveways they do the leaf blower to clear any debris and come in and just spray paint the product on and it doesn’t last I’ve never seen anyone do it like you do clean the driveway with a push broom to clean any debris stuck behind and trim everything with the weed trimmer , spread the product with a broom / squeegee and you go over the same spot many times for the product to really get in and stay in you did an excellent job keep up the excellent work 👍👍👍👍

I paint most things black. I usually wear mostly black. I wouldn’t tar my driveway black. I don’t want my driveway looking like a Lowe’s parking lot.

Do you ever spray?

Few more weeks for us in upstate NY but it's coming soon.

What do you charge for a driveway that small? Do you charge a minimum?

You learned how to seal coat from those guys who knock on doors saying they have extra material there's nothing wrong with knocking on a door saying you have sealer so don't pretend you learned to do this on you're own
